Fuel Up to Play 60 (FUTP60) is an in-school health and wellness program created in partnership by the National Dairy Council and the National Football league to empower youth to take action to improve the nutrition and physical activity at their school and for their own health. The ultimate goal is to create lasting, sustainable changes in the school so children have more opportunities to be physically active and to eat nutrient-rich foods like low-fat and fat-free milk, fruit, whole grains and vegetables throughout the school campus. With over 1900 schools participating in Washington and Alaska, students are working hard to get healthy and be active.
The Dairy Farmers of Washington are committed to youth wellness and have pledged to continue their support of FUTP60 by offering $4,000 grants to schools who qualify. To learn more about this wonderful program and how your school apply for grant funding, please visit www.FuelUptoPlay60.com.
